Intelligent with pinpointed accuracy is a phrase used to describe a drum book arranged by Shawn Glyde. His approach to modern percussion writing for both indoor and outdoor competition has led to 100 + jr. high, high school, university and drum corps drumlines playing his music per year since 2002. Shawn has been on board as KPM's primary drum arranger since it's inception in 2002. His arranging career began while he was in high school and extended through his years as a snare drummer and an instructor for the Concord Blue Devils. He has authored five drum method books, judges for WBA, CVCGPR, WIM/CMA and is the marching percussion caption head for Fresno State University (2001-present).

Shawn balances his musical life by teaching private drum lessons and recording cds as a contemporary jazz solo artist.
