Percussionist, is graduate of CSU, Fresno, where he served as a pit percussion specialist from 1994 - 1997. He is an eight time WGI World Championship medal winner as an instructor and arranger, and is a former member of DCI Finalist Sacramento Freelancers. Dan serves as a composer and arranger for dozens of award winning ensembles around the country and Europe. He also serves as a judge/clinician for organizations throughout the west coast and Drum Corps International.
Dan's percussion teachers include Tad and Carol Carpenter, Don Silva, Steve Korn, Ralph Hardimon, and Dr. Matt Darling. His composition teachers include Don Silva, Gary P. Gilroy, and Key Poulan.

Dan is in his ninth year as a teacher in California's public schools, where he is Director of Bands for the award winning Grace M. Davis High School. He serves on the boards of the Stanislaus County Music Educators Association and the Central Valley Guard and Percussion Circuit.
